#### OpenAPI and JSON Schema OpenAPI defines an API schema for your API. And that schema includes definitions (or "schemas") of the data sent and received by your API using **JSON Schema**, the standard for JSON data schemas. #### Check the `openapi.json` If you are curious about how the raw OpenAPI schema looks like, FastAPI automatically generates a JSON (schema) with the descriptions of all your API.

The ASGI specification defines a `root_path` for this use case. And the `--root-path` command line option provides that `root_path`. ### Checking the current `root_path` You can get the current `root_path` used by your application for each request, it is part of the `scope` dictionary (that's part of the ASGI spec). Here we are including it in the message just for demonstration purposes. ```Python hl_lines="8"

### Server Memory For example, if your code loads a Machine Learning model with **1 GB in size**, when you run one process with your API, it will consume at least 1 GB of RAM. And if you start **4 processes** (4 workers), each will consume 1 GB of RAM. So in total, your API will consume **4 GB of RAM**. And if your remote server or virtual machine only has 3 GB of RAM, trying to load more than 4 GB of RAM will cause problems. 🚨
