computed modulo 2<sup><i>n</i></sup>, where <i>n</i> is the bit width of
the <a href="#Numeric_types">unsigned integer</a>'s type.
Loosely speaking, these unsigned integer operations
discard high bits upon overflow, and programs may rely on "wrap around".
