[Download the latest release](https://prometheus.io/download) of Prometheus for your platform, then extract it

Prometheus server is a single binary called `prometheus` (or `prometheus.exe` on Microsoft Windows). Run the binary and pass `--help` flag to see available options

`<Address for MinIO Node>/minio/v2/metrics/node`.

> To enable compression for all content when using environment variables, set either or both of the extensions and MIME types to `*` instead of an empty string:
> ```bash
> export MINIO_COMPRESSION_ENABLE="on"
> export MINIO_COMPRESSION_EXTENSIONS="*"
> export MINIO_COMPRESSION_MIME_TYPES="*"
> ```

The main limitation is that to update or delete content of a file inside a ZIP file the entire ZIP file must be replaced.

## How to enable S3 ZIP behavior ?

Ensure to set the following header `x-minio-extract` to `true` in your S3 requests.
