<h4 id="Operator_precedence">Operator precedence</h4>

Unary operators have the highest precedence.
As the  <code>++</code> and <code>--</code> operators form
statements, not expressions, they fall
outside the operator hierarchy.
As a consequence, statement <code>*p++</code> is the same as <code>(*p)++</code>.

There are five precedence levels for binary operators.
