Prior to 1.17 and for existing nodes created by `kubeadm init` where kubelet client certificate rotation is desired, you must modify `/etc/kubernetes/kubelet.conf` to point to the PEM symlink for rotation:

* Improved user experience for environments without a public internet connection and users using other CRI runtimes than Docker
* Support for structured configuration for the kubelet, which avoids the need to modify the systemd drop-in file
* Many improvements to the upgrade process and other bug fixes

A security issue was discovered in Kubernetes clusters with Windows nodes
where BUILTIN\Users may be able to read container logs and NT
AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users may be able to modify container logs.

**Affected Versions**:
  - kubelet <= 1.27.15
  - kubelet <= 1.28.11
  - kubelet <= 1.29.6
  - kubelet <= 1.30.2 

**Fixed Versions**:
  - kubelet 1.27.16

A security issue was discovered in Kubernetes where users may have access to secure endpoints in the control plane network. Kubernetes clusters are only affected if an untrusted user can to modify Node objects and send requests proxying through them.
