### ABAC
* ABAC policies using `"user":"*"` or `"group":"*"` to match all users or groups will only match authenticated requests. ### API Change

- Kubernetes 1.23 is now built with go1.19.4. To match behavior of previous Kubernetes 1.23 patch releases:
  - `kube-apiserver` defaults the GOGC setting to 63, to approximate go1.17 garbage collection memory performance in heavily loaded API servers

- Fixed #118052: nodeAffinity on pods can change prior to scheduling gates being removed even when podSpec.affinity is nil in the initial spec, this matches the 1.28 behavior to allow consistent integrators to be written.
