docs/features/calls.md
With rewrites, redirects, follow-ups and retries, your simple request may yield many requests and responses. OkHttp uses `Call` to model the task of satisfying your request through however many intermediate requests and responses are necessary. Typically this isn’t many! But it’s comforting to know that your code will continue to work if your URLs are redirected or if you failover to an alternate IP address.

docs/contribute/concurrency.md
The HttpURLConnection API is a blocking API. You make a blocking write to send a request, and a blocking read to receive the response. #### Blocking APIs Blocking APIs are convenient because you get top-to-bottom procedural code without indirection. Network calls work like regular method calls: ask for data and it is returned. If the request fails, you get a stacktrace right where the call was made.

.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/feature_addition_request.yaml
We want to see that new features have some significant advantage over the alternatives. These advantages can take [many forms](https://github.com/google/guava/wiki/PhilosophyExplained#utility), but taking the time to discuss them in detail will make it much clearer why this feature should be added to Guava.
