- `aws:UserAgent` - This value is a string that contains information about the requester's client application. This string is generated by the client and can be unreliable. You can only use this context key from `mc` or other MinIO SDKs which standardize the User-Agent string.

is configured to expose metrics without authentication, you don't need to use `mc` to generate prometheus config. You can skip reading further and move to 3.2 section.

The Prometheus endpoint in MinIO requires authentication by default. Prometheus supports a bearer token approach to authenticate prometheus scrape requests, override the default Prometheus config with the one generated using mc. To override MinIO's auto-generated keys, you may pass secret and access keys explicitly as environment variables. MinIO server also allows regular strings as access and secret keys.
